1. How can I rent a power bank?

1) Download the BatteryBox app
2) Choose your payment method
3) Scan the QR code,take the powerbank
4) You can return at any BatteryBox station in your city

2. How do I find where BatteryBox is?

In the BatteryBox app, you can always find us on the map or in the list feature in the right corner if you want to see the nearest location and how many powerbanks it has.

3. How do I use a powerbank?

1. Take a powerbank
2. Remove the charging cable and connect your phone or device
3. If the power bank does not turn on automatically, press the "Power On" button on the left side.

The power bank will light up blue or white on the end panel when turned on.

4. How do I turn the power bank off?

It switches off automatically.

5. How can I return the powerbank?

1) Put the cables in place
2) Put the power bank back into the charging station
3) A robotic voice confirms "RENT SUCCESS"
4) Confirmation of the order is displayed in the app

All powerbanks can be returned at any BatteryBox station in Slovakia

6. How much does it cost?

You can find the price list on our website or directly in the BatteryBox app

If you forgot to return the power bank, you can always return it the next day at any BatteryBox

7. How do I pay?

You can choose to pay in the app via MobilePay or credit card / ApplePay / GooglePay.
When you return the powerbank to the station, the amount will be deducted from your card.

8. Can I pay in cash?

No
For security reasons, payments can only be made in the app via MobilePay / ApplePay / GooglePay or credit cards.

9. How long does a full charge take?

With the Fast Charge function, quite quickly!
But depending on how big your battery is, you can easily get by with just 30 minutes of charging.
In 30 minutes, you'll charge 30-40% more battery.

11. Can I charge other devices?

YES!
Powerbanks come with built-in cables - MicroUSB, USB-C and Lightning, which are suitable for all phones, headphones, iPads, running watches, etc.

12. What type of power bank is it?

They are fast chargers with Fast Charge!

You get 30-40% more battery in just 30 minutes of charging

13. Can I see how much power is left in the powerbank?

There is a light at the end of the powerbank that shows how much power is left.
The charging station will only eject powerbanks that have at least 70% battery. So you don't run the risk of your powerbank running out of power right from the start.
If one powerbank isn't enough to charge your phone, you can also always return it and scan a new one each time. All powerbanks are fully charged and ready to use!

14. What happens if I don't return the power bank?

Each user registers with a payment card before scanning the powerbank. The price list is on our website or directly in the app.

If you do not return the powerbank within 3 days, the purchase will be automatically terminated with a price of 30 EUR per product.

If you want, you can also keep the powerbank. However, the purpose is to maintain the concept of sustainable sharing, so powerbanks are reused throughout the city.

15. What if I lose my powerbank?

You can contact us in the BatteryBox app.

The Hotline will report it as lost and will only deduct the total amount of EUR 30 for the lost power bank and rental.

16. What to do if the power bank doesn't work/charge?

We are sorry for the inconvenience you have experienced. If your rental power bank is not working or not charging, press the "Power on" button on the side of the power bank. Please note that the power bank will discharge within 1 to 1.5 hours of use, depending on the device being charged.
If it still doesn't work, please return the power bank and report the problem to us via our customer service in our app or on the website.

17. I can't return the power bank back to the charging station

Maybe the power bank is not turned properly? Try turning it around.
The plugs and cables must be in place before inserting

18. What if there is no free space to insert the power bank?

You can use the "list" function in the app to see all the locations near you and their availability.

19. How can I contact the hotline?

The hotline in the BatteryBox app is available every day from 9am to 5pm.
